Hi Ian! Some really nice shots have appeared on your site since my last visit, I really like the ones showing the water spout on the fountain in Manchester city centre! if we get the snow that has been forecast no doubt you will be out and about with your camera grabbing some nice piccies, remember to wrap up nice and warm though, LOL!
Hello Ian, I have been looking through your work after speaking to friend of mine who is also a keen user of HDR photography, he said that if needed to see some local landscapes that have been given the HDR touch then I should visit your site, I am really impressed with what I have seen and can understand what he says about not over doing it, your work is totally stunning and has given me the inspiration that I needed, thank you so much, Dianne.

Hi Ian!
Just been checking out what is new, you've obviously been busy with "Pants". Winter will soon be here and you can get out and about with your camera grabbing some winter shots that will no doubt have your mark of quality to them. Love the new background music, where did you find it? ;-)
Hi Ian, was good looking around your site, you have some amazing images on here, both landscapes as well as portraits, I came across your details after noticing your web address on the article about David Thompson in ONW magazine, by the way I love the photo of David, look forward to seeing more of your work, Kev ;-)

Pants, Manchester's premier mens designer underwear store, commissioned Ian Reed Photography to undertake a series of model photo shoots as part of our Project Every Man campaign in the summer of 2011. The aim of the campaign was to prove that everyday guys don't have to be a model to look great in underwear. We wanted a photographer who could
- capture our team of everyday guys at their best,
- professionally represent our mens designer underwear brands, ensuring that images captured the high quality and vibrant nature of the products
- bring out the best in the models, products and location, to create a range of stunning visuals for use in our marketing campaign.
We also wanted to a photographer who could proactively provide creative direction and support to the project and who also had proven photo manipulation skills.
We are extremely satisfied with the service received from Ian Reed Photography - Ian and his team maintain a professional approach and open communication at all times and his input and creative direction was key to the smooth running of the project. Ian fully understood the project brief and assisted in selecting locations, identifying ways of representing our underwear effectively with each model and put extensive effort into ensuring the final images were digitally manipulated to bring out the best in the material.
We will continue to work with Ian Reed Photography for future projects and would highly recommend Ian and his team for any company requiring a professional and skilled creative partner.
Hello Ian, I have been admiring your work after seeing two of your images in the "Out Northwest" magazine, I didn't realise that you were mainly a landscape photographer who has swoped over to portraiture, it seems that you are a good all round photographer who can turn his hand to anything, I look forward to viewing more of your work, Karen x

It's some time since my last visit to your site but you have obviously been busy with your camera. The new images are fantastic, the one showing both Parliament and The London Eye is my favourite, as usual your sense of perspective is spot on! The images of the cyclists must have taken some patience, they are really good, you even get a sense of movement from them! I have really enjoyed this visit, thank you, keep up the great work.

The standard of work being submitted is getting better week by week, and having to compete against the Pro's doesn't make things any easier, also like to say that you have a stunning website here.

Hi Ian, You have some nice photos here, and a skill that only a few people that I know can actually master, anyone can take a photo as we all know, but very few can take a photo that is a picture that we all want hanging on our walls, knowing a compostion is something that comes natural to some people and something that can take a life time to perfect, I do not often say this but you have it to perfection.
Keep up the good work and take note of what people are saying here and get selling.
Best regards Anne.

Ian, I want to thank you so much for the photo restoration work you recently did for one of our customers... you worked on a photograph of her late father and did such a beautiful job, when I took it to her, she broke down in tears and needed a few minutes to compose herself. Talk about the power of images -- the power is so much more when enhanced through the kind of work you do and this is pure proof. I'll be passing work to you in the future for certain; thanks again for the speed of your turnaround too.
Enjoyed my visit to your site your work is an inspiration, Thanks>

Hi Ian
Nice meeting up with recently, great website, very professional with some stunning pictures. Your restoration pictures are excellent, a lot of time and patient given to achieve end result. Hope to see you at the Stalybridge club sometime. Dave

Absolutely fantastic work. The photograph's which you took of our Neapolitan Mastiff dog were tremendous. The attention to detail was second to none, resulting in a truly professional image. Both of the framed photographs you did for us look spectacular on our living room wall and you've definitely managed to capture the magnificent splendor of our dog Oliver. You are a true professional. Many Thanks. Steve & Ro

Excellent site, your restoration work is very impressive. The examples of photo manipulation are also very good, you obviously have an artists eye! It is a pity that the animal shelter you link to is not on one of the Greek islands we visit for our holidays, we are told that Skiathos is a very expensive island to holiday on, we will try to make a donation to help them keep up their good work! I think my grandparents have some very old and tatty photographs, I will ask if they would like them restored if possible.

Very nice site, even better than sites published by some professional photographers! Your restorations are excellent, the link to your myolympus page leads to some very beautiful photographs, the cat and cow are really cute! Well done with a great site.

I have just finished viewing your website and would like to say how
impressed i was with the examples of your work, especially those you have
showing on the myolympus site. I myself am quite happy to use my camera
to capture things that I find interesting, during holidays etc, I
would love to posess the skill with a camera that you so obviously have! I
have a large collection of old family photos, some taken when personal
cameras were only just coming in to vogue. I would really like to see
some of those that have not weathered the test of time restored to their
former glory. I will sort out those that I consider to be in most need
of restoration and contact you to arrange how they can safely be sent
to you. From the examples of your restoration work shown on your
website. I have every faith that you will do an excellent job! Please contact
me via my email address so that I may provide you with a phone number
so that we can discuss the restoration work required.

Very beautiful and inspirational photos!
SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!!

Hi Ian, been looking at your website after spotting your photo of Salford Quays on the Calumet Photographic UK website, well done for winning photo of the week, I've been trying to win photo of the week now for a few years, I'll get there one day. The standard of work being submitted is getting better week by week, and having to compete against the Pro's doesn't make things any easier, also like to say that you have a stunning website here.
All the best Rob.
Hi Ian,
Everytime I visit your site it never ceases to amaze me the beautiful images that you have managed to captured. The HDR photography is superb. Keep up the fantastic work and I look forward to seeing some more of your work soon.
Steve
Hello Ian, what a very pleasent site, must have spent almost 20mins looking at the photos listening to the music ( I ran it twice lol ) and checking out all your info, glad someone has finally explained what HDR is and how you achieve them results. Is there any chance of you letting people have some desktop images, would be nice to have one or two of your photos on my desktop.
Thanks Jake
Hi Ian, You have some nice photos here, and a skill that only a few people that I know can actually master, anyone can take a photo as we all know, but very few can take a photo that is a picture that we all want hanging on our walls, knowing a compostion is something that comes natural to some people and something that can take a life time to perfect, I do not often say this but you have it to perfection.
Keep up the good work and take note of what people are saying here and get selling.
Best regards Anne.
Hi there Ian, I have been having a look at your photos of Salford Quays, have you ever thought of selling any of them on the Quays, you quite often get photographers dropping flyers off at all the appartments, why not give it a go, your work is far better than most I have seen there.
Kev. W
Fantastic site Ian, I have read the rest of the comments here, and had a look at your HDR pics and I'm really impressed with them, thanks for adding the link to photomatix, I think I'll give the HDR a go myself.
Keep up the good work.

Wow wow wow, what a fantastic talent you have, I love everything on your site, the style, the music and most impressively your photographic work, you should be selling these photos, I very much like the Haworth photo in the new photos gallery, it almost looks like a watercolour.
Keep clicking as they say.
Kev
Hello Again Ian

Awesome pictures Ian, an absolute inspiration!!!!! Have bookmarked and will revisit again!
Hey there, just stumbled across your site, had a very pleasent look at all your work and read all the other comments in your guest book, I agree with everything that people have written before me, and I also think you should be selling your services and your prints, it seems a great shame that they should only be viewed here online when they should really be hanging on peoples walls. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful absolutly beautiful, such a nice range of subjects you certainly have a good eye for a photo, really like your compositions and could imagine some of your work hanging on my walls, I've book maked your site for future viewing, why have you not got a link to sell your work ?
Simon Atkins
Hi Ian
If a picture is worth a thousand words the face of the rescue centre dog that you have published in its original and manipulated versions says it all, please take me home! I have a five pound note, can you turn it into a fifty please. As usual you have done a really good job with the latest work added to your galleries.
Stephen >)))*>
Fantastic photos, nice to see someone who is comfortable photographing all types of subjects, really like the night shots around Salford Quays, must pay the area a visit next time I'm in the area.
Any chance of you listing the name of the music on your site ... Perfect photos complimented by perfect music.
Michael
Hello Ian, Just had a very pleasent look around your site and also read all the other comments here, it sounds like you are a photographer who is just as happy in front of the camera as you are in front of the computer restoring photos, seen some very pleasing images, keep up the good work, and I'll be viewing your work again in the future.
Regards, Peter Jackson. (also a very keen photographer)
Great site, some wonderful shots of the old and the new, particularly around Manchester. The restoration work looks amazing too! Definitely visit this site again.
The photos on this website have style and flair - well done Ian, Ive enjoyed my visit John
